Let's Get to Know You
We start with a conversation, because great portraits begin long before the camera comes out. We want to know what matters to you, how you want to feel when you see your portraits years from now, and what will make this experience meaningful.
We’ll walk through everything—location, clothing, whether to include pets, and the portrait artwork you’re considering—so nothing feels uncertain. Just a relaxed, unhurried conversation where you can ask every question on your mind.
Your Portrait Session
By the time we arrive at your session, every detail has been thoughtfully planned. All you have to do is show up and enjoy it.
We’ll handle the rest—guiding you in a way that feels natural and brings out the real you. With decades of experience working with people of all ages and personalities, we know how to make the experience easy—and even fun.
View and Order
A week or two after your session, we'll project your proofs onto a big screen at the studio where you can see them large, beautiful, and side by side. It makes choosing your favorites easy, and happy tears are completely normal. We'll guide you through every decision so nothing feels overwhelming. Since this is your one opportunity to view your proofs, we ask that all decision makers plan to join us in person. For long-distance clients, we can set up a video conference viewing appointment.
Delivery and Installation
This is our favorite part. When your finished portraits arrive, we'll schedule a delivery and installation appointment so you can see your portraits come to life in your own home. It's a genuinely exciting moment and we love being there for it. Prefer to hang them yourself? That's perfectly fine too. For our long-distance clients, we ship all finished artwork at no additional charge. Every piece is handcrafted from the finest archival materials and backed by a lifetime guarantee. Because portraits don't just decorate a house. They make it a home.
